My Favourite School Library Moments from the Year

A year in the school library is filled with small moments that make a big impact. From school-wide Puzzle Day and hands-on STEM projects to origami clubs and book fairs, I’m sharing my favourite highlights from the library this year—and the activities that brought students together to read, create, and explore!

This post is a simple roundup of some of my favourite library highlights from the year.

From hands-on maker activities, fun displays, technology days and book fairs, these moments helped shape our library space into a place students were excited to visit again and again. 📚

I’d love to hear which highlight looks the best to you! Let us know below in the comment!

As the year wraps up, I’m reminding myself that the best library moments don’t have to be complicated—they just need to be welcoming, engaging, and a little bit fun!

Whether you try one of these ideas or simply use them as inspiration, I hope they spark new possibilities for your own library. Here’s to another year of curiosity, creativity, and kids who love coming to the library. 📚💛
