Easy Digital Travel Brochure Templates

Have fun creating no-prep travel brochures with this Google Slides template! This resource makes it easy for students to showcase their research.

Are you ready for a fun culminating task for your research unit…but you don’t have the time or energy to create a digital resource? Don’t stress, your answer is here! This Travel Brochure Digital Research Template is one of my favourite resources I’ve created, and it’s going to make your life SO easy!

What does the brochure template include?

This Google Slides™ resource is pre-loaded with everything your students need to create an eye-catching brochure!

  • Heading boxes - text boxes are ready for headings that match your learning expectations

  • Text boxes - these are ready to add the research information

  • Photos/Image boxes - students can insert photos from their devices or find photos online. They can even cut and paste the source underneath their images if you are practicing proper citation.

READY TO Print!

The brochure is really easy to print! Simply print as “2 sides to 1 side”, and choose “print on the long-edge” in your printer settings. I usually print one first just to make sure everything looks right!

After you print, it’s two simple folds to create the brochure.

EXTRA IDEAS

I created this template for my students to make brochures about countries…and this still works. However…I’ve received lots of exciting feedback about OTHER ways educators have used this same template! It has also been used successfully in a variety of different grades.

  • Favourite city in the world

  • Vacation brochure with a budgeting focus

  • Extention activity for World Climates unit

  • Places and people in your community

Educators said…

“The students were engaged and the templates were perfect for designing country brochures.” (Grade 3)

“Used this as a culminating activity for our Social Studies unit. Love that I could edit and write the headings in French…merci!!” (Grade 2)

“This is just what I was looking for….it only took me a moment or two to edit for my needs. Love that the template was made and easy for students to use and edit.” (Grade 6)

Looking for similar templates for future writing activities? Check out this Travel Writing Bundle which includes the brochure, plus a Travel Planner and Travel Journal!

ALSO….if you don’t use Google apps in your school, be sure to check out the same editable brochure template for Microsoft Word.

I hope you have so much fun creating brochures with your students!
